Color: Deep purple with distinct deep violet edges.
Nose: Richer in fruit flavours, this wine displays a beautiful
assortment of chocolate and vanilla aromas supported by big
sweet berry red berries and fresh ripe plums, reminiscent of
grandma’s tasty home made jam.
Palate: Exceptional structure, a well-balanced wine with soft
chalky tannins and immersed with luscious dark cherry ripe
flavors. Full bodied with a lasting enticing palate.
Serving and Cellaring Suggestions: Released in limited quantities, Taltarni Heathcote Shiraz is a rich flavored wine to enjoy young and fresh. A splendid match with roast meats and an ideal partner for a cheese platter.

Bright and jazzy, with impressively dark, brooding blackberry, dark plum and black pepper flavors, which ride on a highly polished frame that lets the finish roll on and on. Drink now through 2015.

Wine Enthusiast
Well done Shiraz, carefully made and judiciously oaked, with vanilla and cedar accenting blackberry, plum and black olive flavors. It’s moderately tannic on the finish, where it adds some coffee-like nuances as well. Drink 2010–2018.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
