Our one hundred percent Grenache hails from the incredible Rossi Ranch in the heart of Sonoma Valley. Originally planted in 1910 by Val Rossi, Phil Coturri and his team have taken Val’s dream to elevated heights. Devoted to Rhone varietals with a nod to historic Sonoma the place just has soul. The wines are noble, and the purity of Grenache is in large part due to the marginal soils laced with light volcanic ash and deeply rooted vines in search of limited water. The 2023 vintage is a showstopper with layers of complexity, silky tannins and seductive aromatics. Eye catching color loaded with notes of red hibiscus tea , dried mandarin peel and cinnamon bark. Drinking beautifully now but this is a wine to also keep for a while and savor.
