Right out the gate with vibrant Red Currants, liquorish and a dusting of Marsala spice. Quite evident acidity, yet plush and in perfect balance. Some crunchy red fruit with red apple skins, a nice glimmer of tannin brought perhaps by the whole cluster ferment. Beautiful depth of character.
