In 2021, winemaker Justin Willett led a partnership in the acquisition of Fiddlestix Vineyard—a foundational vineyard of the Sta. Rita Hills. Planted in 1998, Fiddlestix sits atop the same Miocene landslide that informs the terroir of Sanford & Benedict, immediately across Santa Rosa Road. Justin worked with Fiddlestix in his first two vintages of Tyler - 2005 and 2006 - and now proudly farms nearly 40 individual blocks across 100 acres as its steward for many years to come.
