Estate grown fruit is hand picked and hand sorted before crushing and aging in French oak barrels, 20% of the lot is given whole cluster fermentation to add aromatics and moderate acidity. The flavors in this wine exemplify cold-weather grown syrah… dark fruit flavors of boysenberry and blackberry are balanced with savory notes of black pepper, meatiness and a touch of smoke; silk tannins and a long, lingering finish pull you back in for another sip.
